Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the product leader for your line of products by defining, communicating, and executing against the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Develop the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures. Have a deep understanding of the market competition's strategies, products, strengths, and positioning, relative to TCF's equivalents. Gather, manage, and prioritize market/customer requirements. Be the customer advocate, articulating the user's and/or buyer's needs. Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met. Align and influence operational capabilities and capacity to achieve the product vision & strategy roadmap. Have technical product knowledge or specific application expertise for TCF products. Participate in active selling efforts, especially during new product launches, product improvements and product line expansions. Lead price strategy development and active management of day-to-day pricing execution. Support quote development for unique design specials. Provide strategic input to supply chain on select sourced materials. Maintain a deep understanding of the reasons and methods that customers select, specify, and ultimately purchase TCF products. Define product marketing communication objectives and collaborate with sales and marketing to execute against these objectives. Develop training for internal and external customer covering your line of products, including market positioning and value proposition. Travel up to 25%, visiting representatives, customers, vendors, TCF manufacturing facilities, and job sites. Ability to consistently demonstrate the TCF Leadership Competencies - being reflective, inquisitive, highly communicative, and a leader of inspiration and change. Live, Act, and Behave by TCF Core Values All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred. 5+ years of product management, application engineering or product engineering experience required, preferably in the HVAC/fan and blower field. Excellent people skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization, including colleagues, cross-functional peers, executives, customers, and third parties. Ability to analyze relevant information and make informed decisions. Keen focus on customer-centric and data-driven approach to problem solving Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn more. High interest in manufacturing technologies, product design/development, and/or other similar engineering disciplines. High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
