BIGOS MANAGEMENT IS PROUD TO BE NAMED A STAR TRIBUNE TOP WORKPLACE IN 2023 FOR THE 9th TIME Location Willow Creek, Plymouth, Minnesota Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm Summary Perform all duties pertinent to maintaining the assigned property(s) including, but not limited to, cleaning and shampooing individual apartments, common areas, storage areas, entry ways, and laundry rooms. Keep areas around entrances clean and free of debris. Also responsible for the maintenance of the grounds, i.e., trees, ornamental plants and flowers, lawn mowing and watering, snow shoveling, sweeping of all parking lots, paved areas, and walkways. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and abilities required. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Clean and vacuum buildings and foyers daily Clean and shampoo vacant apartments Clean laundry rooms daily Check light fixtures and bulbs and clean and replace when needed Keep storage areas clean and supplies, parts and equipment cared for properly Keep recreational and pool areas clean and free of debris Water and chemically treat lawns Weed and plant ornamental shrubs, trees, plants, and flowers Clear snow from all entrances as needed Remove trash cans from common areas and prepare trash areas for pick up Performs other related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age Prior experience in maintaining grounds of a large residential property preferred Knowledge of cleaning and lawn care products Skills and Abilities: Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public Decision-making, problem solving, and time management skills Ability to organize tasks in order to accomplish assigned work as quickly and as efficiently as possible Physical Demands: Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment. Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas. Continuous bending, stopping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving through-out day. Regular lifting of more than 20 lbs. and frequent lifting of up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
