ManpowerGroup Packaging Machine Operator in Plymouth, Minnesota

Packaging Technician - Direct Hire, Plymouth, MN

1st shift : 5am-3:15pm, M-Thu

2nd shift: 3pm-1:15am, M-Thu

3rd shift: 9pm-7:15am, M-Thu

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 (depending on the shift)

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor, operate and adjust various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to batch record procedures.

• Independently set-up and clean various packaging equipment in multiple areas according to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP regulations.

• Accurately complete all necessary production packaging paperwork (cleaning log, batch records, verify batch numbers, expiration and material numbers) and calculate amount of product accepted or rejected to comply with FDA regulations and to ensure accountability.

• Assist in the training of new and current packaging personnel on Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, equipment and processes.

• Responsible for maintaining machine qualifications and observing manufacturing packaging personnel on equipment and processes, according to the written Training Plan.

• Monitor work area for safety hazards and wear personal protective equipment as identified in the Safety Program, SOP’s and posted for specific areas.

• Read and understand cGMP’s and SOP’s.

• Change packaging materials (including labels, inserts, foil, pvc, etc)

• Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot minor equipment problems and resolve them with a minimum loss of production.

• Obtain and set-up all packaging material and paperwork.

• Oversee less experienced packaging employees working on the line.

Education and Experience

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required

• 1 year machine operating experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment or 1 year automotive or mechanical maintenance experience.

• Ability to work independently as well as with others and multi-task.
