This internship will focus on daily production support, continuous improvement projects, fixture design, as well as process and documentation updates. This is a full-time intern position for the summer of 2024, based in Plymouth, MN. *Principal Responsibilities* • Support production needs under the guidance of Manufacturing engineers • Performs troubleshooting on existing products/process problems as related to design, material, or processes • Supports engineering change order creations and writes justifications for changes • Assist with document changes and updates • Developing and writing validation protocols and reports (i.e. IQ) • Design, prototype, and build fixtures used in daily production • Collaborates cross-functionally with engineers and production staff • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned *Education / Experience Requirements* • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Bachelor's degree program • Sophomore or Junior level preferred • Previous internship experience preferred *Specialized Skills / Other Requirements* • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Demonstrates project management and problem-solving skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Willingness to learn and ask questions • Proficient in Solidworks and or comparable CAD software *Working Conditions / Physical Demands* • Exposure to high production/output machinery and equipment, and constant noise in the production/plant environment. • Consistent lifting: 2 - 20 lbs. necessary/ Max = 50 lbs. • Engages in walking, sitting, lifting, bending, carrying, talking, and hearing.
