Daikin Applied Inventory Control Specialist in Plymouth, Minnesota

Summary: Daikin Applied is seeking a long term temporary employee to receive and organize inventory located onsite and in the offsite warehouse as well as the flow of materials to the local factories. Accurately inventories parts, assemblies, and components in a safe and efficient manner by performing the duties listed below. The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $25.00 - $28.00 in MN. The range displayed the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is a long term temporary role. Working individually and with a team to support the facilities department at the Plymouth office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives inventory of parts that are in house and in the offsite warehouse in Oracle. Performs cycle counts on a daily basis. Manages up to date inventory of onsite refrigerant and able to work with the teams to forecast upcoming need. Maintains inventory of parts and equipment supporting manufacturing in other locations. Proficient and safe experience with Powered Industrial Trucks/Vehicles and other forms of material handling. Inspects incoming parts and units for damage and completeness of orders, also informs the stakeholders of arrivals and findings. Inspects, sorts, stages, and tracks unit and component inventory for current and future projects. Takes care of shipping needs that arise including packaging, palletizing, and documenting. Performs daily inspection for safety and tidiness of area. Works with management and the team to continuously improve and streamline our current processes and aides in developing new processes.
