Daikin Applied HR Specialist - Compliance in Plymouth, Minnesota

Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking an HR Specialist - Compliance. In this role you will assist in ensuring all phases of Human Resources compliance activities are followed. Under general supervision, you will assist in creating and editing programs, policies standards, processes, and measures related to HR compliance across multiple state locations. What you will do: Monitor and maintain legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance. Collaborate and participate in the coordination of Affirmative Action Plan ("AAP") and EEO-1 processes, reporting and program team. Respond to inquiries regarding various Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs. Work cross-functionally to mitigate risk through tools, processes and training. Assist in training management in compliance issues related to interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, performance management, EEOC, ADA, FMLA and other government requirements. Assist in various compliance audits. Participate in EthicsPoint hotline entries and reporting. Examine internal employee relations trends and assist in implementing solutions and interventions. Collaborate with leaders and HR team members who are involved in employee relations compliance issues. Prepare reports as requested. Other duties as assigned. Strong verbal and written communication skills exhibiting a high level of professionalism Ability to gather and synthesize data into a compelling format in support of HR initiatives.
