Overview: The Food Lab Techncian will work in an R&D environment on convenience and beverage applications. Responsibilities: Assist in bench-top and pilot plant processing e.g. ingredient scale-up, getting equipment ready before testing, and post-test clean-up Perform basic physical and analytical analysis Ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis Maintain ingredient and chemical storage in accordance with food safety guidelines Maintain pilot plant equipment and all areas utilized by lab Comply with food safety and EH&S policies Check supplies and order as necessary Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Food Science with 0-2 years of experience -OR- Associates Science degree with food lab experience Basic food ingredient and processing knowledge Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively both with a team and independently Proficient in Microsoft Office Pace Analytical is an equal opportunity employer.
