Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control for an assigned group or division by performing the following duties. A Day in the Life: Analyze financial & transactional data supporting monthly journal entries and various management reports. Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities. Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts. Analyze operational variances and prepare selected management reports. Research collection issues for the Accounts Receivable department. Support the annual planning & forecasting process Support the research, design, testing and implementation of new process initiatives for the operating system - enhancing efficiencies & minimizing costs.
