Robert Bosch LLC seeks Technical Project Manager (Multiple Positions) in Plymouth, Michigan. Lead the Project Team and achieve the project targets (on time, on scope, on budget, on quality) for projects with PIC A/B. Responsible for steering the product development activities and the quality assurance activities in product development projects. Responsible for the project, ensuring the product performance and the fulfillment of the system requirements (including safety, security requirements when available). Streamline product and feature planning by aligning requirements, technical design, and product marketing to demonstrate Parking systems for North America vehicle manufacturers. Focus on aligning strategies in the areas of product roadmap, benchmarking, demo readiness, feature planning and roll-out. Develop North American specific SW products such as parking features. Involve in upcoming acquisition activities for Parking systems Business development engineering for USS systems to analyze customer requirements, develop solution concepts, system definitions, system architecture, system specifications, Lead and drive all customer communication along with Sales and product management for new acquisitions and USS system demonstrations. Define vehicle level impact based on requirements and facilitate demo readiness of parking product features. Define and carry out the functionality testing based on prototype for proof of design concept, analyze testing result to evaluate functionality with support from engineering. Drive benchmarking activities. Actively participate in acquisition activities and develop cost and effort estimations. Contribute to Hardware processes for productions start / handover to plant, responsible for engineering processes of production: electrical control unit, sensors. Telecommuting: Hybrid, 3 days work from home.

This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related degree plus 5 years of experience as a Software Project Manager, Hardware Project Manager or other occupation involving automotive product development. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Full development cycle of supplier automotive ASIL-B products (From sourcing to SOP) in driver assistance sensor technologies / functions, specifically near range sensing systems (ultrasonic and video); (2) Automotive plant release process, tools and standards (Bill Of Material update, Engineering Change Requests and PPAP) along with series support and retrofit coordination; (3) Technical interface and responsible for overall implementation of automated or semi-automated driver assistance systems, specifically in regards to hardware electronics / systems / requirements / software development, calibration, parametrization and vehicle / system bench testing; (4) Coordination of a large multi-regional and multi-disciplinary engineering team through waterfall, Agile (SCRUM, Kanban or Lean) and hybrid project management approach according to Automotive industry standards and ASPICE process standards; (5) Budget planning and tracking specific to automotive R&D (such as Quarterly CF, Yearly Business plan, or HC planning; and (6) Technical acquisitions and change management lead (Technical feasibility, efforts/cost and timing assessment).
