Robert Bosch LLC seeks Senior Business Development Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI, 48170. Analyze customer requirement, develop solution concepts, system definition, system architecture, system specification. Lead and drive all customer communication along with Sales and PRM for new acquisition and video product demonstrations. Define vehicle level impact based on requirements and facilitate demo readiness of video product features. Define and carry out the functionality testing based on prototype for proof of design concept. Analyze test result to evaluate functionality with support from engineering. Drive benchmarking activities. Actively participate in acquisition activities and develop KVT's. Support with trailer and surround view trailer development activities. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Senior Systems Architect, Senior Technical Acquisition Manager, or other occupation involving software development, project management, system requirements and system design. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Establishing networks and contacts to efficiently and effectively coordinate technical and business-related activities to create new features, products, and business opportunities; (2) Communicating with customers and stakeholders regarding effort, cost, and technical feasibility of new business ideas and product features; (3) Vehicle architecture and vehicle communication (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet); (4) Technical interfaces required for automated or semiautomated driver assistance systems to connect and communicate with HMI, Odometry, Brake, Electronic Body Control and Steering modules; (5) Near range sensing systems such as ultrasonic and video based environmental perception including technical feasibilities and limitations on feature and functional levels; (6) Vehicle control unit failure management and data processing to diagnose issues on system and function levels; (7) Applying ISO26262 automotive safety as an industry standard to ensure functional safety; and (8) ADAS software and system architecture and best practices for ASPICE process standards to effectively and efficiently coordinate prototype or development activities in a large centralized and de-centralized team environment.
