Robert Bosch LLC seeks Mechanical Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Lead the product launch of automotive electronics with the assembly plant, suppliers, and customer. Establish technical risk management and safe launch plans for product launch. Lead problem solving activities with the vehicle assembly plants, suppliers and manufacturing plants. Responsible of change management for drawings and specifications during launch. Develop technical risk assessments based on quality and reliability statistics to support deviation and concession processes. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Design Engineer, or other occupation involving Electronics Development and Manufacturing. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Developing technical risk analysis of failure modes of electronic modules, components and printed circuit boards; (2) Creating and developing Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) for electronic modules; (3) Using Problem solving methodology on engineering issues; (4) Using and applying Geometric Tolerancing according to ASME and ISO standards; and (5) Utilizing Systems Engineering for mechanical architecture development and application in manufacturing lines. Travel Requirements: 25% domestic and international travel required.
