Aerotek Entry Level CNC Machine Operator - All Shifts 17+ in Plymouth, Michigan

SHIFT:

1st 5:45AM-2PM M-F

2nd 1:45PM-10PM M-F

3rd 9:45PM-6AM Sun-Thurs

Description:

This company is a leader in the precision machining industry. Fasteners are one of their products. They work with a variety of industries including automotive.

JOB DESCRIPTION: They are looking for entry level machine operators. They are automated CNC machines, so they are more so loading the machine with parts and taking the parts off, along with visual checks. They will be operating sugami bar fed swiss lathe machines.

JOB DUTIES:

• Load/unload machines

• Removing part out of containers

• Putting them through feeders

• Part checks

• Automated machines they are working with

• Input parts, output has to make sure trays are removing from the machines otherwise the machine will stop

• Move parts with a pallet jack

• They will be monitoring 4 machines at once

OT:

*Voluntary majority of the time

*Although it is voluntary most of the time they do not want candidates who are looking for a 40 hour work week right now because they ideally want candidates who want the OT.

*They are working insane OT right now because they are short staffed. This is not the normal model and they dont plan on it staying this way.

*They are currently working 6-7 days per week (Again, day 6 or 7 is optional, only 5 days are required)

*They can come in before or stay after their shift as well

AVERAGE HOURS:

Ideally 40. Right now it is more like 60-80 hours.

MUST HAVE:

*Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

*CNC operating experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• Part checking

• Knowing CNC or processes

• Grinding processes

• Production

• Bar fee experience

• Lathe experience

• Automated grinder (they have echo hill grinders)
