Job Description:

Apex Systemshas an exciting opportunity for an Analytical Chemistfor one of our Pharmaceutical clients located near Lansdale, PA.The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience.

The Chemist will help support the Analytical Laboratory Operations.

Primary Responsibilities As an Chemist, you'll join the analytical laboratory as an experienced member of a team of pharmaceutical professionals in support of phase-appropriate drug development and evaluation activities. Tasks Performed

  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert related to complex chemical and physical analyses as needed.
  • Coordinate ICH stability testing within the analytical laboratory and across partner laboratories.
  • Responsible for scheduling individual analyst's day-to-day activities within the analytical laboratory as needed under the supervision of laboratory management.
  • Serve as a qualified trainer of personnel on dedicated laboratory equipment.
  • Manage laboratory resources and lead procurement activities.
  • Analyze drug product samples under cGMP conditions.
  • Review and approve technical data.
  • Technical writing in support of analytical activities related to manufacturing and product release timelines.
  • Calibration of various analytical instruments as needed.
  • Occasional method validation and transfer activities

Qualifications

  • College degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Client services approach and mindset (internal and external)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail focused
  • Strong clerical skills including data entry and document organization
  • Strong work ethic
  • Problem solving and risk mitigation skills
  • Fluent English language skills required (both written and spoken)
