Eliot Community Human Services Juvenile Justice Senior Residential Clinician in Plymouth, Massachusetts

Eliot is seeking a licensed Senior Clinician with experience working with clinical issues of children and adolescents. Our ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, knowledge of DBT and have the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.

Eliot’s juvenile justice programming includes a residential network for youth ages 13 to 21 who are court involved and need placement while awaiting return to court, assessment or longer term treatment. These highly structured, self-contained programs offer a comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.

  • Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with program, DYS, DEEC and ECHS policies and procedures.

  • Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.

  • Supervise case management and advocacy for youth.

  • Have knowledge of resources in each community in which youth live.

  • Attend administrative, staff, shift change meetings, and facilitate clinical and community meetings.

  • Help organize and participate in staff training.

    Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the Healing Arts and independently licensed as a LICSW, LMFT or LMHC. At least three years direct experience with the population.

  • Knowledge and experience with clinical issues of children and adolescents and working knowledge of DBT and

  • substance abuse.

  • At least one year in a supervisory role.

  • Must be proficient in English and possess and convey effective verbal and written

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with residents, staff, co-workers and supervisor.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups.

  • Ability to physically carry out Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, flexibility with schedule

Salary: 70k

Location: Plymouth, MA
