As an Information Management Consultant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks relating to the planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of strategies with our team as we undertake a digital transformation.

The role of an Information Management Consultant, you'll need to:

  • Collate and assess existing plans and strategies from a range of stakeholders

  • Elaborate on strategies, bringing cross-industry best practice, specifically incorporating Building Information Modelling (BIM) concepts and practices.

  • Engage with wide range of stakeholders to gain consensus on developed strategy

  • Work across all departments to embed the strategy whilst also supporting on-going activities critical to site operation

  • Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertake risk management in specialist roles

  • Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues across Engineering disciplines

  • Think both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems

  • Be adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project

  • Compile, check and approve reports

Roles & Responsibilities:

Senior Roles

  1. Work collaboratively with facilities engineering discipline leads to obtain engineering assistance required, define activities and jointly establish Statement of Work.

  2. Work collaboratively with the client leadership to ensure goals of engagement are fulfilled, new ideas are discussed and Workstream expansion Plans implemented

  3. Workload Management - Workload Planning & scheduling, Resource Management

  4. Generation of engineering estimates as part of work packaging

  5. Risk Management and Quality Assurance

  6. Drive Customer Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction

All Roles

  1. Work transparently with various facilities engineering discipline leads / teams to provide clear and concise reports and information regarding progress and management of Risk and Opportunities in relation to the Engineering activities.

  2. Define and conduct governance meetings.

  3. Bring learnings & operational best practices from other engagements.

Software Skills

  1. Microsoft Office tools

  2. AutoCAD (Awareness)

  3. Vault (Awareness)

  4. Revit (Awareness)

Domain Knowledge

  1. Good understanding of Project life cycle from concept, commissioning to operations and maintenance.

  2. Technical knowledge and understanding of various engineering disciplines and interfaces.

  3. Experience in design and construction phases especially in dock environment will be an added advantage.

  4. Building Information Modelling (BIM) practices

Desired Skills:

  1. Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.

  2. Ability to handle discussions / communications independently.

  • Works in a Collaborative environment.
