Main responsibilities will include:

  • Investigate Customer Complaints in accordance with standardised practices and in an effort to identify potential root causes of reported defects.

  • Test returned and/or retained products and review manufacturing records (DHR) where possible to enable confirmation or otherwise of reported defect.

  • Ensure all relevant systems and supporting records are maintained as evidence of a thorough investigation to the required level, and that investigation reports are recorded on the Trackwise system in a timely manner.

  • Support Validation / Trial runs and MWOs in manufacturing to provide product testing support where required.

  • Provide support for internal audits, third party regulatory audits and customer complaints as required.

  • Provide a source of advice / knowledge on shift to manufacturing / technical associates on all matters relating to Customer Complaints.

  • Support the Quality Engineering team on reasonable requests as they may arise.

  • Support operational CI initiatives as required including documentation improvements.

About you:

  • Achieved and completed high school education, specifically GCSE Maths and English.

  • Experience within a quality function in a manufacturing environment is essential.

  • Able to analyse numerical data and complete detailed reports of investigation.

  • Experience in a quality / manufacturing role within a high volume medical device-manufacturing controlled environment.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Minitab.

  • Excellent IT skills, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.

  • Basic knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
