MONOGRAM APPETIZERS Production Supervisor in PLOVER, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position will supervise in running a production line(s). The individual will be responsible for working in a safe manner and inspecting the line for any safety hazards prior and during production. The Supervisor is also responsible to ensure daily safety report cards are always in the line workers possession and being properly filled out each day and collected at the end of the shift. The Supervisor is responsible to turn in their line workers safety report cards to their supervisor at the end of the shift. The position also requires an individual to read and understand specification sheets and ensure that GMP\'s are being followed. Also, responsible for producing product in an efficient manner, performing change overs, packing product and transferring the product to a new location. The individual will be responsible for running a balance of the following functions: production, machine repair/trouble shooting, and assist the Production Manager as needed. This position will involve running equipment and performing a degree of maintenance. It is important that this position possess the willingness to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive. Has authority to communicate to recommend disciplinary action for violating company rules and policies. Before shift starts physically and visually inspect the assigned work area for any safety hazards. During shift operations continuously observe for safety hazards. Be observant for employee safety in addition to GMP compliance and make immediate corrections to GMP discrepancies as needed and report them to the supervisor/manager. Responsible to ensure safety to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and put safety and food quality first. Verify components on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations Ensure that all employees are wearing their PPE Ensure that all employees are filling out their Safety Cards Responsible to always keep line clean of any debris Assign work to Line Workers Train Line Workers how to meet the daily productions goals Update production metrics on hourly production whiteboard Ensure paperwork for skid tickets, line checks, and quality checks are being conducted Contact Indirect Labor Material Handler to bring additional components for production line as needed Instruct Material Handler (direct labor), Line Workers, and sanitation crew to clean up production line waste during production and when production is complete Escalate production issues to Production Manager as needed Perform quality checks of the line Perform other duties as needed or assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older. Associate\'s degree in business, engineering, logistics, or related field highly preferred. Business experience can substitute for education. Two (2) or more years\' experience in a leadership role. Experience in a food manufacturing environment desired but not mandatory. High-level leadership and decision-making skills. Able to motivate, influence, and train people. Able to interact with all professionals of Plant Management. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
