Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC units, cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, and performing routine preventative maintenance. You will fix, replace, and adjust vents and ductwork, as well as comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements. This role involves servicing both commercial and residential units, troubleshooting pumps, motors, chillers, VRFs, BMS, and handling light electrical controls. You will also need to bend, sweat, and braze, read blueprints, and have refrigeration experience.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pleasantville, New York.

Work Environment

You will handle service calls, repairs, and installations throughout Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam. The role primarily involves working in commercial buildings. You will ride in a company vehicle with a permanent employee driving to various locations to perform service work. Hand tools such as pressure gauges, wrenches, screwdrivers, cordless drills, tin snips, shears, refrigerant scales, vacuum pumps, pliers, multi-meters, and voltage testers will be used.
