HVAC INSTALLER HELPER (Previous HVAC Install Experience Required)

    RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

  • Has experience installing residential HVAC systems

  • Follows directions set by the Lead HVAC Installer

  • Makes an effort to learn all aspects of HVAC, including system installations and ductwork

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures

  • Ensures job-site cleanliness

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS OF AN HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

  • Two (2+) years of experience in the same or similar role desired

  • EPA Certification: Type I and Type II or Universal desired

  • NATE certification a plus

  • Driven to succeed and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate tight crawl spaces, and climb ladders in or around attics, garages and rooftops

  • Knowledge of HVAC operational principles and safety practices

  • Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within given time constraints

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have great attention to detail

  • Must have a mechanical aptitude

  • Must have the ability to work overtime as needed

  • Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and have a valid CA driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF AN HVAC INSTALLER HELPER

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California non-commercial Class C driver's license

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders

  • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 75 lbs

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes

  • Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
