HARIBO of America Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

Come join HARIBO of America’s first ever North American factory! Located on-site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Reporting to the Associate Manager Inventory & Operations , the LTL Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for tracking and communicating the specifics related to outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains accurate electronic files to optimize quality, service and efficiency in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintains a productive and respectful two-way dialogue with procurement and internal plant customers.  The LTL Shipping/Receiving Clerk will partner with support functions to identify Purchase Order delivery ownership throughout the entire building and assure all Purchase Orders are physically delivered and systemically received in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control review of each order (LTL/ UPS/ Fed Ex/ SILO)

  • Check-in orders using SAP

  • Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers

  • Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels

  • Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely

  • Follow safety requirements for the position

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment

  • Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability

  • Completes shipping reports and Goods receipt of PO in SAP

  • Move inside the facility and support other warehouse functions (SILO, Conveyor, and Warehouse)

  • Prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications:

  • Requires equivalent of a High School Diploma.

  • Requires 2 years of experience working in a shipping and/or receiving type of role within a warehouse or manufacturing facility

  • Requires minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience

  • Must be flexible with work scheduling as well as overtime

  • Strong attention to detail required

  • Basic computer skills required, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Prior experience using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Platform) systems such as SAP is required

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using SAP ERP preferred

  • Experience with UPS and FedEx software preferred

  • Troubleshooting skills preferred

  • Requires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with percentages, and have basic knowledge of algebra as well as make fine adjustments in equipment settings

  • A complete commitment to personal and coworker safety and adherence to rules and procedures is expected

  • Requires teamwork ability; works well with others and communicates effectively with all associates

  • Requires good oral communication skills to effectively deal with coworkers

  • Requires the ability to train and coach others for success

  • Ability to work independently and complete scheduled tasks
