Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cl SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator in Plattsburgh, New York

This position will serve as one of the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators for Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Clinton (based in) and Essex County and will implement nutrition, food demonstration, and cooking programming using pre-approved lesson plans and curricula aimed at improving healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families, individual, and youth groups throughout Clinton and Essex counties. Programming will take place both on-site and off-site in the community, in accordance with the Nutrition Program Area’s plan of work and federal and NY state SNAP-Ed guidelines. This position will also coordinate all administrative aspects of the SNAP-ED Program and will assist the Nutrition Program Manager with marketing efforts and monthly reporting for SNAP-Ed, in collaboration with other nutritionists of the SNAP-ED program in the North Country Region.

Minimum Salary: 21.50 Maximum Salary: 21.50 Salary Unit: Hourly
