At Chewy, the Payments and Fraud team safeguards Pet Parents and Chewy from risk while innovating with engaging payment experiences.

Chewy is hiring an AD Product Manager - Fraud and Risk to join our team in Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA, or Plantation, FL. Reporting to the Director of Payments and Fraud you will spearhead Fraud & Abuse initiatives, leveraging analytics, machine learning, and customer insights to develop top-notch detection and prevention strategies. Responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for fraud mitigation, collaborating with cross-functional teams like customer support, and managing third-party fraud prevention partnerships. You will have a proven track record of launching effective fraud policies and products, excel in stakeholder management, and is a strong advocate for customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Product Roadmap Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement the fraud and abuse product roadmap. Craft compelling narratives for short and long-term product visions.

  • Expertise Development: Manage critical third-party relationships for fraud prevention. Develop proficiency in applications impacting fraud detection and prevention. Apply product management best practices and aid in implementation execution for the broader Payments team.

  • Communication and Updates: Act as the main contact for Fraud and Abuse Prevention across Chewy, you will provide progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks to enhance customer experience before program launches.

  • Collaboration and Alignment: Coordinate projects to ensure seamless communication of results, risks, and issues. Foster collaboration and alignment with business owners, project leaders, and team members.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience and skills: 5+ years of proven product management experience, with prior work in e-commerce, ideally in fraud prevention. Demonstrated expertise in fraud prevention and e-commerce, including defining and delivering complex product roadmaps. Proficient in analyzing and effectively communicating metrics to support recommendations.

  • Communication and Time Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks with attention to detail.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with leadership, and the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, operations management, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
