Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment keeping industrial facilities buzzing with power? We're seeking a skilled Industrial Plant Electrician to join our growing team!

In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment that keep our plant operations running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot electrical problems, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including control panels, motors, transformers, and lighting.

  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective repairs.

  • Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and testing procedures to identify and address potential problems before they occur.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety protocols and procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and production personnel to diagnose and resolve electrical issues impacting plant operations.

  • May assist with the design and implementation of electrical upgrades to improve plant efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience in an industrial setting.

  • strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and practices.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.

  • Experience working with industrial machinery and control systems a plus.

  • Excellent working knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (NFPA 70E).

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Must have minimum of 5 years' experience as certified electrician

 Must have experience with 3 phase 480 .

 Must have electrical/electronics knowledge.

 Experienced in P.L.C., AC Drivers, DC Drivers, Motors, Starters, VFD's, Servodrives.

 Must be able to troubleshoot PLC's.

 Must be able to read electrical schematics.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 12 hours at one time

  • working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

  • working weekends
