I'm urgently searching for 3 motivated top talents to hire for an amazing opportunity with our Fortune 50 FinTech client as an Advanced UX Designer in downtown Plano, TX !

Role : Advanced UX Designer

Location : Must currently be in commutable distance to Plano, TX

Shift : CST | M - F for 40 hours

Hybrid: 2 -3 days remote

Pay: 110,000 - 123,000

Expected Start Date: ASAP February 2023

Interview Process: 2 -3 rounds.

Overview:

  • Design and re-design product experience across Home Lending offerings

  • Review existing user research about the product experience; identify opportunities for making improvements

  • Active in upfront user research to better understand user needs to behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users, with the support and guidance of Experience Researchers

  • Work with Product Management and Experience Research to contribute to product requirements, specifying desired outcomes

  • Advocate for the user’s perspective when collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers to plan roadmaps, gather requirements, and structure the work

  • Ideation and prototyping to explore different options and unexpected workable solutions

  • Diagram the interactivity of the product ecosystem, omnichannel services and feature interaction, with user flows and wireframes

  • Detailed design, built on the client's own Design System

  • Advocated for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices

  • Incorporate business understanding into design decisions

  • Support recruiting processes, reaching out to potential candidates, taking part in interviews

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for all stages of UX design

  • Think strategically with great attention to detail

  • Collaborate with other designer, product manager, and tech engineers to develop innovative, user-friendly, product as well as provide solution for critical areas within the user-flow

  • Solid understand of user-centered design principles, HTML, CSS, Visual design, and proven expertise in designing Web/Digital experiences

  • Define user models and user interface for new and existing products and features

  • Develop high level and detailed storyboard, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products, making constructive suggestions for change

  • Concept and develop new and engaging experiences for the user base

Requirements :

✓ 4 - 6 years recent/relevant advanced designer in UX / Product / Interaction Design

✓ Additional Skills: UX Research. Mixed skills helpful but note we require someone with more design heavy as this is a design heavy opportunity !

✓ Very proficient with Figma

✓ Portfolio : 2 - 3 or more samples showing strong design (ex. mobile/ios app/digital)

✓ Bachelor’s minimum

✓ Must have your own functional Wi-Fi and quiet environment during remote days

✓ Must be in commutable distance to Plano, TX

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in design discipline (interaction design, HCI, user experience design)

  • Has shipped multiple successful digital products

  • Self-directed; both planning and structuring effort, and executing and expected levels of quality

  • Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches

  • Prior work involves collaboration within design teams (designer, UX researcher content designers) and cross-functionally with product manager and software engineers

  • Adv. Skills in Interaction Design and Visual/ UI Design or Information Architecture

  • Intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping

  • Understand how design work connect with broader business value

  • Able to show how their understanding of technical constraints and opportunities informed design solutions, familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices

  • Comfortable and condiment when presenting work to cross-functional Directors
