JPMorgan Chase Senior Commercial Review Appraiser in Plano, Texas
The Senior Commercial Review Appraiser will be responsible for engaging and reviewing external appraisals on moderate to complex commercial and multifamily residential properties in connection with real estate related financial transactions. A broad geographic focus is preferred.
This position will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing real estate valuation appraisal reports in compliance with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), FIRREA, and internal appraisal requirements. Additionally, the responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, completion of appraisal reviews to JPMC's minimum appraisal and evaluation standards and appropriate regulatory guidelines. Extensive experience in appraising and/or reviewing a wide variety of commercial and multifamily residential property types is required.
Must be a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with at least 10 years of appraisal experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience reviewing complex commercial appraisal reports.
An MAI or equivalent professional appraisal designation is desirable.
College degree is required.
Real estate appraisal courses equivalent to those required for the MAI designation.
Previous work experience in a regulatory/banking environment is preferred.
Excellent mathematical and communication skills, both written and oral.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Argus programs.
