JPMorgan Chase Operations Optimization Senior Associate in Plano, Texas

Job Summary:

As an Operations Optimization Senior Associate in Commercial Bank Middle Office, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operational processes. This position involves analyzing current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing tactical solutions to optimize performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to support all aspects of process optimization, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

  • Utilize intelligent solutions to automate functions and deliver benefits in capacity creation, risk reduction, and streamlining of operational processes.

  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members on optimization tools and potentially create and/or deliver training curriculum and courses around workflow.

  • Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders on Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and/or metrics to deliver benefits from operational automation.

  • Prepare detailed presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience and proven ability to gather and analyze complex processes and develop accurate conclusions with sufficient comprehension of the business to understand risk implications.

  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office suite.

  • Advanced knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, and KANBAN.

  • Experience with consistent collaboration across all levels of the business.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :

  • Bachelor's or higher degree.

  • Advanced skills and an understanding of business analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
