Job Description:

The ISR & Strike group is a newly formed organization with a largely international portfolio consisting of over $1B in current backlog and a pipeline potential for $2B in orders and $1B in revenue for ’23. We have large programs with unique financing and revenue recognition considerations in which L3Harris is acquiring aircraft and performing complex high-tech missions. This is a tremendous growth portfolio and an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious person that wants to be a part of making radical changes while supporting a growing and dynamic business – success here will not go unnoticed – the P&L impacts are huge – and room for organizational improvements are just as substantial.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to improve processes

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

  • Accurately forecast project Cost of Sales – Revenue – Operating Income - Cash

  • Drive internal and external reporting efforts

  • Deliver actionable analysis to management

  • Drive working capital metrics throughout the organization

  • Creative problem solving

  • Mentor early in career finance staff

  • Business partner to program management

  • Take ownership for financial controls and gaining exposure to all aspects of the organization to understand the mission and how to best add value to the team.

  • Ability to concisely communicate complex scenarios to an often-unfamiliar audience is a key attribute.

  • Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

  • Travel 25% to Greenville, TX as business needs dictate. Estimated to be 1-2 days a week.

    Job Qualifications:

  • Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area. Typically has comprehensive knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline and may have broad understanding of other areas within the job function. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • 3-5 years in Aerospace and Defense industry

  • 3+ years of prior expertise using program finance tools such as: SAP/Excel/Hyperion

    Preferred Skills

  • 4+ years of experience with Earned Value

  • 4+ years of Deltek Cobra program finance experience
