Duties: Deliver individual project consulting and basic technical expertise in core product portfolio in the domains of mechanical and process engineering. Implement software solutions for clients in process industries for engineering, operation, and maintenance of process plants and asset management. Gather customers’ information regarding product Lifecycle management needs and identify requirements for structured databases and workflows within COMOS. Develop COMOS software to plan and operate process plants including chemical, energy, water, waste, pharmaceuticals, oil, natural gas, food, etc. Review and document client’s existing engineering model. Develop implementation and test plans. Architect and design software solution based on customer requirements. Document the ‘Functional Design’ for client’s review and approval. Develop COMOS database configurations and configure base objects accordingly to enable full functionality in customer systems. Configure development and test environment. Train super-users, users and CAD/CAE professionals to use the COMOS product within their workflows to ensure maximum benefits from the implemented solution. Configure required engineering documents such as: Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).

Requirements : Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Systems Engineer/Systems Architect - related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 5 years of experience with oil and gas or petro-chemical-based engineering lifecycle management software products; 5 years of experience with COMOS implementation projects as an architect; Working with solid FEED and P&ID modules project implementation; Performing COMOS DB advanced query configuration, COMOS admin advanced skills on base data configuration, and COMOS customized plugins development; Performing database query scripting and modeling; Working in Agile Software development; Working with industrial simulation tools such as Pro II, HYSYS, and HTRI.
