JPMorgan Chase Corporate Finance: Financial Analysis & Business Management - Associate in Plano, Texas

The Corporate Sector, with an annual operating expense budget of over $12B and headcount of more than 37,000, is managed in two groups: "CTC" (the Chief Investment Office, Treasury and Strategic Investments), and "Other Corporate" (all other functions). The responsibilities below pertain to Other Corporate only.

The Corporate Sector Finance & Business Management ("CS F&BM") group provides financial management, business management and reporting support for multiple Corporate functions, including Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Responsibility, Audit, Executive and other staff and corporate-aligned areas. Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis (P&A) is a centralized team that partners with the functional teams and supports their CFOs in the 30+ corporate functions that span the Firm. The team coordinates across all Corporate Sector teams and has direct interaction with Firmwide P&A, Investor Relations, Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis, Corporate Capital Stress Testing, Resolution & Recovery, Corporate Financial Reporting and the Global Finance & Business Management organization among other groups. The team consists of approximately 60 people, with primary locations in Jersey City, Plano, and Mumbai .

This role is part of the Central Analytics and Reporting team within P&A with specific responsibilities that contribute to the execution of the Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) and Risk Appetite stress testing forecasts, and Resolution & Recovery (R&R). This role will also engage in associated automation related deliverables. The team coordinates the CCAR, Risk Appetite and R&R deliverables across Other Corporate, which encompasses the execution, review and submission to the central teams for Firmwide submissions to our regulators. The Associate will be responsible for working on stress forecasting calculations, preparing presentations and multiple complex projects. You will work closely with the central CCAR and R&R program teams, Control Management, MRGR and multiple functions within Corporate and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Documenting processes, driving automation, re-engineering of the operating model and enhancing the control environment are other key aspects of this role.

In a Financial Analysis role, you would be responsible for:

  • Serve as a liaison across Corporate functions, Firmwide P&A, Tax, HR Finance, and other relevant teams to execute on the CCAR, Risk Appetite, and Resolution and Recovery agenda

  • Execute stress forecasting calculations and submission deliverables for CCAR and Risk Appetite

  • Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for senior management that summarize forecast results, plans and progress; participate in and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed

  • Provide timely and concise updates and escalate issues appropriately

  • Enhance controls and improve risk environment, including producing, organizing and maintaining documentation

  • Help drive process improvement and automations to increase operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting (CFA, CPA, MBA a plus) with at least 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience and/or experience with CCAR and R&R deliverables, preferably in the financial services industry

  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize

  • Comfortable operating in a demanding and fast-paced environment

  • Responds with flexibility in dynamic environment and comfortable with addressing ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to partner well, mentor and influence others
