From initial design concepts through aircraft integration and operation, our company provides the highest quality full-lifecycle support to our customers. Cox & Company, Inc is looking for a Test Engineer with the knowledge of aerospace industry test standards. This includes EMI testing such as radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility, pin injection, electrical power quality and transients, as well as environmental tests such as temperature, shock and vibration. RequirementsROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write detailed test plans and procedures per RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461Define required support equipment necessary to conduct tests such as wiring harnesses, electrical interfaces, vibration fixtures, instrumentation, etc.Plan and conduct tests as well as evaluate test resultsCollect and analyze data in an organized manner that can be presented to customers and managementCommunicate with Engineering Managers and Program Managers on testing statusCoordinate test witnessing and schedules with customers and test facilities.Supervise outside laboratory tests.Write test reports. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.Three years of related experience required.ADDITIONAL NOTESPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Must be able to traverse production facility.
