Senior Finance Analyst Job in Pittsfield, MA Pay: \$70-90k Schedule: Mon-Fri. 8a-4:30p Job Type: Direct Placement, Pittsfield MA TEC is helping to recruit for a revitalization organization here in the Berkshires. This organization is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst who can handle high volume and multiple entities. The position will assist the finance team with the financial management of business operations and projects across the Company\'s portfolio, including accounting, budget, analysis and reporting as well as performing key control processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements and safeguarding of assets. Job Duties: - Lead the annual budget process working alongside operating leads to create well supported plans and forecasts for multiple entities - Assist in ensuring accurate recording of entries in the general ledger with specific attention to significant balance sheet accounts and income and expense classes on a daily basis for multiple entities - Collaborate with operating entity leads to ensure timely month end close including preparation of monthly account reconciliations and other financial control processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the financial statements - Track monthly performance of various entities to budget including revenue, operating expense, cash flow, KPIs and assist in the analyses and reporting to management - Provide analytic and value-added insight on a variety of finance led process improvement activities and project support as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related discipline - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or business role with a demonstrated analytical ability - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and experience with concepts such as budget to actual reporting and financial analysis Key Characteristic: - Entrepreneurial mindset; Not satisfied with status-quo - a creative thinker - Self-starter with an ability to work independently and in areas of ambiguity with little guidance - A demonstrated professional integrity; Strong communication skills, both written and oral - Great attitude, fun, team player with a desire to make an impact - An intellectual curiosity and inquisitiveness - comfortable asking questions that lead to better results
