We are hiring, we would be thrilled to have you join our fantastic team! No experience necessary, we will happily train the right people. This position is the voice of Berkshire Eye Center so excellent customer service and exemplary phone etiquette is essential. The position ensures patients are triaged and the proper appointment types are scheduled. The right candidate is able to work in an extremely fast paced environment while having excellent attention to detail. SOME OF THE OTHER REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES: - Must have basic computer skills - Ability to bend throughout the day to gather any patient charts needed for triaging - Maintain professionalism at al times - Provide the highest quality customer care - Confirms the EHR has the correct patient demographics - Confirms the EHR has the correct insurance information/updates if needed and obtain insurance authorizations if required - Schedule/reschedule and cancel patient appointments - Triage all patient phone calls to determine urgency of appointment (this skill will be trained in house) Ask about our frame/glasses benefit!
