Associate House Manager Barrington Stage Company is seeking an Associate House Manager to join our team in Pittsfield, MA for the summer season. BSC is a not-for-profit professional theatre company in the Berkshires with a three-fold mission: to produce top notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to engage our community with vibrant, inclusive educational outreach programs. Duties: - Ensure the safety and comfort of our patrons while at the theatre - Create a welcoming environment for all of our patrons when they arrive and enjoy a production at our theatres - Assist in volunteer confirmations and rescheduling - Assist in management of concession operations, reporting, and inventory - Uphold sanitation practices to keep our spaces clean and safe - Assist in gift shop management including reporting and inventory. Skills: - House Management or extensive patron services experience, including face-to-face contact with patrons. - Strong organizational skills - Ability to work with grace under pressure while making quick decisions - A love of helping others - Flexibility to bounce between different spaces and tasks - A valid driver\'s license (access to a car for the summer is preferred) This position is seasonal from June 4, 2024 to September 13, 2024, with some flexibility to dates. Pay is \$750/week plus housing. This position reports to the House Manager and will work primarily nights and weekends.
