Job Description:
eProductivity Software is hiring a Temporary HR Generalist for a temporary six (6) month role to support our business leaders and employees in our diverse and growing team in North America approx. 250 people, to be based out of our Pittsburgh office, in a hybrid work environment.
Reporting to the VP, Global Human Resources, this role will act as a trusted business advisor, providing critical thinking and guidance to the full Human Resource life-cycle function, specific to the North America Region. This regional leadership includes 3 locations in the United States, along with Canadian remote team members.
Position Duties:
Provide guidance and support for HR operations functions
Manage employee relations, including handling employee inquiries, investigations, and conflict resolution
Coach managers on leadership and talent issues including development, engagement, and elevating performance
Oversee the execution of the processes that support and enhance employee performance
Provide support related to annual HR-related activities
Support the global HR Team with the delivery of strategic plans to optimize and improve our talent
Partner with the overall HR Team to ensure a positive employee experience
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition organization on critical headcount planning
Partner with the Global HR Team to support and/or lead strategic HR projects. Some of the exciting strategic projects currently include Leadership Development, Learning and Development, DEI&B, Employee Engagement, Employer Branding, and Onboarding.
Partner with immigration attorneys to support all North American immigration
Partner with and support the Benefits and Payroll manager on related processes
Deliver candid feedback and constructive coaching on an ongoing basis to business leaders to help them progress most efficiently toward goals
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Prepare and process employee changes for UKG (HRIS) data entry (i.e. promotions, terminations, salary adjustments, organizational assignment change requests)
Maintain employee records and files for compliance
Manage and track offer and pre-hire activities within UKG (HRIS)
Manage on / off-boarding activities in UKG (HRIS)
Assist and work with the Finance Team to begin new vendor setup in Netsuite
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years related HR Generalist experience
Demonstrated experience utilizing an HRIS system, preferred UKG
Willingness to learn
Ability to seamlessly deliver and execute new HR tactics
Demonstrated success acting as a trusted advisor/consultant who can influence without authority
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload
Comfortable with setting/delivering against ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial and error and continuous improvement
Comfortable navigating global organization structures and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams
Ability to solve problems and identify root causes of various HR issues
Great communicator and team-worker
Experience with MS Office products
Location Requirement:
- Must be able to work - 2 days in the Pittsburgh, PA office (Tuesday & Wednesday) with 3 days work from home (Monday, Thursday and Friday).
Preferred Skills:
Solutions focus and being comfortable working in an environment, that demands strong deliverables
Self-starter with project coordination skills, ability to grasp the deliverables, identify key risks, and cooperate with all parties to achieve goals in a fast-changing environment
Experience with an international organization
