DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY: As the Technology Support Specialist you would provide frontline information technology support to employees across all Goodwill locations, such as answering questions or resolving computer problems, managing requests or problem tickets, hardware/software installation, mobile device support, POS support, etc. in person, via telephone or electronically. Along with  sharing on-call duties with other department personnel to support business goals and objectives.

Duties include but are not limited to:  * Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities, including help-desk requests and proper escalation as needed.  * Set up and inventory equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation or repair of operating systems and appropriate software.  * Answer user inquiries regarding computer software, hardware, networking and/or connectivity and resolve problems.  * Support mobile devices, digital phones, POS systems, desktop and laptop computers, printers, etc. installation and usage by installing and upgrading, as needed, software, hardware and related peripherals.

Travel Required: Yes, frequent travel will be required. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) After hours and weekends when assigned or necessary.

External Hiring Range: $45,760.00   - $47,590.40/year

QUALIFICATIONS:  * Trade School Degree AND 3 years' of experience with software, hardware, and/or systems installation and Level 1 technical support experience required. OR  * Associates' Degree AND 2 years' of experience with software, hardware, and/or systems installation and Level 1 technical support experience required.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:  * Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to first day of employment.    * Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
