Intern will work closely with EDW Business Analysts and developers to perform analysis for on-prem and cloud development initiatives. Intern will assist with specifications and testing. Intern will have ability to participate in the full software development lifecycle of projects.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has the goal of providing the opportunity to acquire practical experience through direct exposure to the related business line(s) and to develop the next generation of diverse business professionals. To that end, the program will provide hands-on training and experience in the business line, expose the various career opportunities in the business line and related areas, and prepare participants for positions in the business.

Typical responsibilities include, providing services to the day-to-day operating objectives of the assigned area, participating in projects and programs appropriate to the needs of the assigned area, participating in the planning and implementation of projects and initiatives, conducting research and reporting including recommendations or proposals for action.

• Work with Systems Analysts, Developers, QA Testers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions.

• Participate in the full software development life cycle by actively participating on Agile scrum teams in various roles, including, but not limited to, Business Technical Analyst and Tester, based on need.

• Support various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects are realized and completing analysis of the results tying back to customer impacts.

• Ensure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, or related field.

  • Ability to be organized and work in a fast-paced environment
