We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our CCG IT PMO team!

Technical Project Manager Job Description:

The candidate will apply their strong technical competence in project management methodologies to to proficiently coordinate the delivery of Infrastructure, Network, Automation, and Software development projects. Your expertise in Agile, Scrum, and SDLC delivery models will be important in ensuring successful project outcomes. You will lead and mentor junior CCG IT PMO members, Functional Business partners, and other business unit members on the CCG IT Intake through delivery engagements. In addition, the role will conduct tollgate quality reviews aligned with the PPI process and drive continuous improvement by re-engineering processes for enhanced quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex large-scale projects, ensuring that all scope and requirements are met and fulfilled on time and within budget.

  • Apply Agile, Scrum, and SDLC delivery models to drive project performance and success.

  • Conduct tollgate quality reviews aligned with the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) process to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Lead and mentor junior PMO members, providing guidance and support in project management processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and vendors to define project objectives, results, and timelines.

  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure effective project execution.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring alignment and clarity on project goals and expectations.

  • Drive continuous improvement by re-engineering processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing standard methodologies for quality and efficiency.

  • Track project performance, analyze data, and report on project metrics to partners and senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Education, Experience, and Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Consistent record of 7+ years as a Technical Project Manager, with experience in complex product orders or systems in the industrial/manufacturing sector. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.

  • Ability to drive and facilitate discussions on Scrum or Agile standard methodologies, workflows, and tools usage. Also, MS Office suite experience including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Attention to detail, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving are key to success!

  • Experience developing and creating project plans that display project landmarks in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and PMP (Project Management Professional) governance guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00–$151,300.00.
