UPMC is looking for a Shuttle Bus Operator (Non CDL) to support our Pittsburgh facilities.

This position works Monday- Friday. No weekends!

Purpose:

Operates Shuttle Bus and Van on assigned routes. Maintain documentation on rider-ship. Maintain safety checks, routine maintenance check on shuttle vehicles and cleans vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ridership information and report per company processes. Maintain route standards and only stray from designated route with permission of management or law enforcement.

  • Understands and monitors D.O.T. compliance. Remain compliant with all regulations and guidelines established by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA), Driver License, Medical Card, Motor Vehicle Resource (MVR).

  • Develop and foster a strong working relationship with all riders and co-workers. Provide the highest level of customer service to all passengers. Demonstrate safe working and driving actions.

  • Participates actively in maintaining cleanliness standards in bus's and UPMC facilities.Fuel vehicle according to company policy.Complies with all UPMC Employee Transit policies and procedures.

  • Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High school graduate/GED or 1-year previous driving experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.

  • Deep understanding of transportation regulations.

  • Strong customer service background.

  • Ability to manage change in a busy environment required.

  • Good driving record required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Driver's License

  • Act 34

  • DOT Medical Card Clearance
