Mott MacDonald is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in large-scale, complex transit and/or transportation infrastructure projects to join our dynamic team located in our Pittsburgh office.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage transit facility and infrastructure projects including interfacing and reporting to our key clients, monitoring and managing budget and schedules, and general project coordination. You will lead, pursue, develop, and execute complex, multi-disciplinary, high-profile projects from start to close-out to deliver client projects and programs.

As a key member of our team, you will lead various pursuits to win great work, grow accounts to maximize opportunities for Mott MacDonald, and oversee the delivery of excellent projects. You will play a lead role in gaining trust with our clients and key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities: Provide vision and leadership to staff Lead the development and execution of transit and/or transportation infrastructure projects Through project efforts and involvement in industry activities, develop and maintain client relations Plan, organize and work with technical groups in the delivery of transit and/or transportation infrastructure engineering project requirements including the provision of technical support to designers Scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of design disciplines and sub consultants Collecting, monitoring and evaluating design submissions, cost estimates, and construction schedules from contractors, public agencies, utility companies, and designers Support to business development and strategic initiatives, including preparation of proposals Nurturing an innovative, challenging, collaborative and high-performing work environment, which supports and fosters the Mott MacDonald values and culture where results are driven by a total team effort.

Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering with master's degree preferred Over 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of PM experience relating primarily to large-scale transit and/or transportation infrastructure projects PE license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it within 6 months Technical knowledge of light rail, heavy rail, commuter rail system elements and bus rapid transit design and operations including knowledge in the interactions of rail, city infrastructure and roadways Demonstrated leadership with multi-discipline teams to execute transit-related projects; delivering projects on time and to budget Ability to scope and estimate complex projects Ability to develop and maintain client relationships Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both written and orally Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in complex and changing environments Able to implement in-depth Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures
