Squirrel Hill Health Center Registered Nurse (RN) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Squirrel Hill Health Center (SHHC), a dynamic and growing Federally Qualified Health Center in Pittsburgh, is seeking a temporary PRN RN. The RN is a key member of the care team working to provide quality comprehensive services to patients and will work collaboratively with staff to provide team-based coordinated care.  The RN will demonstrate the values consistent with Squirrel Hill Health Center’s mission and will work with the SHHC team to make the Center a Medical Home for patients of all backgrounds.

The RN will be responsible for telephone triage, patient education, health promotion and preventive care with an emphasis on quality. The RN will be mainly remote but may be asked to report to an office location occasionally. 

Qualifications: 

  • Licensure as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;

  • RN required, BSN preferred;

  • Excellent organization skills and ability to deal effectively with the public; 

  • Skills in Electronic Health Record and ability to learn new system;

  • CPR certified;

  • Knowledge of a second language preferred;

  • Must be committed to serving populations consistent with SHHC’s mission.
