DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Description Vitalant is seeking an experienced Regional Manager, Material Inventory and Warehouse Operations. As a Regional Manager of Material Inventory and Warehouse Operations, Your Impact Is Vital as you are responsible for ensuring the efficient management and availability of critical materials for donor sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery within their assigned region.

Acting as the primary point of contact for all material inventory and warehouse functions, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth operations. Key duties include managing inventory levels, implementing cost-effective inventory control procedures, overseeing procurement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. The manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and local vendors to meet operational goals and maintain continuity.

In addition to managing day-to-day inventory needs, the Regional Manager will lead a team, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance. This role involves strategic responsibilities such as participating in budget preparation, analyzing procurement trends to optimize spend, and identifying opportunities for material standardization across the enterprise. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this position, as the manager will need to work closely with various departments to ensure effective and efficient operations across the region.

What to Expect: Key Responsibilities:  * Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.  * Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate staff, effectively resolving personnel matters as they arise.  * Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures across the region.  * Manage inventory levels and critical supply availability, including restocking and ordering for assigned operations.  * Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to maintain cost-effective supply levels within the district.  * Oversee procurement processes, analyzing trends and projected collections to optimize spending patterns.  * Report ordering patterns and identify opportunities for standardization within the assigned region.  * Collaborate with the Senior Manager to standardize materials across the enterprise, reducing the variety of SKUs in inventory.  * Participate in the annual budget process and ensure adherence to approved departmental budgets.  * Attend locational meetings to understand and address local material inventory needs.  * Interface with local vendors as necessary.  * Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure operational continuity and receive feedback on material needs.  * Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 2. Knowledge of inventory control practices required. 3. Knowledge of related equipment and computer systems required.

Licenses/ Certifications 1. Valid in-state driver's license required.

Experience 1. Five years of related experience with required. To include:

  • Two years supervisory experience.
