Adecco Medical and Science is hiring for a Recovery Coordinator for an organ procurement organization in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full time, permanent opportunity complete with health benefits and a great 401k option! In this role you will be working under the direction of the Tissue Recovery Manager. Shift: Rotating 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off- first week 7am-7pm and then rotate to 7pm-7am

Requirement:

  • 1 year of experience in health-related field.

  • Associate degree preferred.

  • Candidates graduating from a formal education program related to Surgical Technology (preferred), Forensic Autopsy, or Mortuary Sciences will also be considered

  • Possess experience with sterile technique.

  • Ability to complete 6-month training period.

  • Valid PA state driver's license.

Duties:

  • Works under the direction of the Tissue Recovery Manager

  • Responsible for recovering tissue, corneas, and research organs and tissues from post-mortem donors.

  • Adheres to FDA current Good Tissue Practices and AATB standards during recovery.

  • Provides post-mortem care for tissue and cornea donors

  • Possesses thorough knowledge of company Policy and Procedures related to tissue recovery, eye recovery, specimen collection, and organ and tissue packaging.

Pay: $28.46/hr. (+ $1.75 shift differential for 7p-7a)

Pay Details: $28.46 per hour
