Job Description

How will you make an impact?

As a Pricing Analyst, you will develop tools to help guide the business in setting strategic prices, implementing price/volume improvement programs, and tracking Price/Volume impact. You will Identify, validate, and quantify new pricing improvement opportunities across the entire product and service portfolio for LSG (Life Sciences Group).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to the LSG organization on pricing strategy and execution

  • Develop and drive data-driven pricing guidelines/tools for business units within LSG divisions

  • Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives that include setting list prices, determine customer specific discounts and identify product conversion opportunities

  • Determine new product introduction price positioning. Work closely with marketing, product management and finance teams to determine optimal launch price

  • Prepare executive-level reports of findings and opportunities increase price attainment in the businesses

  • Build Ad-hoc modeling and analysis related to price/volume tradeoff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in the fields of Analytics or Data Science

  • Intermediate level experience in SQL

  • Proficient in advanced Excel and other Microsoft office applications

  • Python programming preferred but not required

  • Power BI (DAX / Power Query (M)) preferred but not required

  • Must have bachelor’s degree in business, operations, mathematics, economics, or a scientific field

  • Strong creativity, drive, and communication skills

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal abilities, relating well to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to travel (<10%)

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $75,000.00–$100,000.00.
