Postdoctoral Associate

Position Description:

Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Radiology, University of Pittsburgh.

 

Research Interest:

The laboratory of Dr. Hendrik Santosa in the Department of Radiology is actively seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Our laboratory is dedicated to advancing the field of neuroimaging, particularly in real-world applications, machine learning, and statistical analysis. This project specifically aims to develop a novel method for estimating brain activation patterns in the context of cognitive domain classification.

 

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate should have a PhD degree in bioengineering, medical physics, statistics, or related fields. Essential qualifications include experience in neuroimaging techniques such as fNIRS and/or EEG, as well as proficient programming skills. The candidate will primarily engage in data collection, neuroimaging data analysis, and the development of imaging techniques to study functional changes in the brain. The postdoc will work closely with Dr. Hendrik Santosa and his research team, including Dr. Ted Huppert, as part of the newly funded NIH R21 project (1R21EB033954-01A1: Cognitive Domains Classification Using fNIRS-EEG).
