POSITION PURPOSE:

Do you enjoy working within the community? Are you a time management pro and a team player? While all therapists are expected to manage their caseloads and function independently, they’ll also collaborate with others in a team-based approach to care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide care to those served with mental health diagnoses in a variety of settings.

  • Will exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing multi-disciplinary community-based services to adults with severe mental health illnesses and dual diagnosis, and their families, using face-to-face individual, group psychotherapy, and family-focused behavioral health management techniques, case management and mental health supports.

  • Will provide community-based mental health services in a variety of setting, i.e., homes, community spaces, other PMHS locations, to persons for whom all other traditional treatment services/locales have not been effective.

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in Human/Social Services with one (1) year clinical experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting

  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances

  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen

  • Child Protective Services Law training

  • Access to reliable transportation

Work Schedule: This is an Exempt (salary) position. Monday through Friday daylight with at least one evening per week to meet the needs of persons served.
