The Bradley Center Milieu Coordinator - FT/PRN in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Bradley Center is a trauma-focused residential treatment facility where children and adolescents with emotional, intellectual, and behavioral difficulties receive 24 hour care and treatment. Our residents present with a wide range of challenges and often have a history of trauma.

The Bradley Center is seeking motivated, compassionate candidates for the position of Milieu Coordinator who have a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for individuals with initiative, creativity and a desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as designated leadership on shift

  • Provide and model quality therapeutic treatment

  • Teach and coach therapeutic skills to unit staff

  • Document treatment provided as well as other required reporting

Qualifications Best Suited for the Position

  • Initiative

  • Ability to provide feedback and have critical conversations

  • Patience and creativity while working with residents at their own pace

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic

  • Problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other related field preferred

  • OR a minimum of 60 college credits

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working directly with children and adolescents in a psychiatric or residential setting preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
