Discover Impactful Growth

As Market Intelligence Senior Manager, you will drive pharma services innovation and growth by providing market and competitor intelligence to inform business strategy and collaborating with colleagues across our pharma services business. On a monthly basis, you will provide market growth updates, strategic insights and trends, and significant market and segment insights to marketing and business leaders. Our team supports business development through detailed situational analysis and quantitative analysis to support strategy development and deployment. We also mine market, competitor, and customer data and provide analysis that improve our ability to fulfill customers’ needs better than any other player in the market.

A day in the life

  • Build and maintain high-quality models and quantitative analyses to understand outsourced and insourced CDMO and clinical trial supply market (e.g., size, growth, molecule pipeline, customers, competitors), using third-party datasets and market research reports.

  • Support periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) market dynamics and insights to support key business processes.

  • Share actionable insights with our partners that help improve business outcomes.

  • Coordinate across extended team to assess and analyze market opportunities aligned with company growth areas.

  • Identify and communicate emerging trends and how they may affect our business.

  • Leverage technology, such as Power BI, to automate capturing insights.

  • Lead third-party data pulls and collaborate with data vendors.

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that drive standard methodologies and increase efficiency.

  • Ensure monitoring and maintenance of data quality and pursue solutions when you find gaps.

Keys to success

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, statistics, math, pharmacology, chemistry, or related field, with advanced degree desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Robust experience with CDMO or biopharma industry, with understanding of trends across various modalities (small and large molecule, advanced therapies) and dosage forms.

  • Prior experience using pharma databases and ability to independently conduct analysis using these databases (examples include IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, Citeline).

  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and leading multiple projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with ability to present data and information effectively to a specialized, executive audience.

  • Strong business and financial skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, attention to detail.

  • Adaptable, curious, and self-motivated with a growth mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
