Kforce Information Security Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Information Security Engineer on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, PA.Summary:The Information Security Engineer will be tasked with conducting information security risk assessments on-site with client, based on industry standards, as well as implement secure infrastructure to the cloud. In this role, you will also automate and improve security processes and applications and assist with remediating vulnerabilities and driving security initiatives with large teams.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix system administration is a must

  • Must have experience with vulnerability scanning tools and the ability to prioritize vulnerability severity and impact to the business

  • Must have experience with Critical Security Controls

  • Experience with Identity Access Management (IAM), SailPoint a plus

  • Must have a strong foundational knowledge in all areas of Information Security (Vulnerability Management, Information Security Systems Administration, and Architecture)

  • Must have strong communication skills to be able to discuss technical issues with customers of all levels of technical expertise

  • Must have the ability to track and lead numerous parallel activities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
