Summary:

Huntington’s Resolution & Recovery Planning Office is seeking an FDIC 370 Reporting Manager to join the FDIC 370 Reporting Team. The Resolution & Recovery Planning Office is responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of Huntington’s resolution and recovery planning programs, including FDIC Part 370. Part 370 requires financial institutions with 2 million or more deposit accounts to configure its IT systems to be able to make deposit insurance determinations in the event of failure, and maintain complete and accurate information needed to determine deposit insurance coverage.

In this role, the qualified candidate will be charged with assisting the Resolution & Recovery Planning Director with the planning, execution, delivery, and maintenance of Huntington’s Part 370 program. These activities include leadership over the identification and implementation of reporting solution enhancements; data quality, remediation, and validation efforts; operational readiness and testing; and executing data reconciliation and automation initiatives. In addition, the FDIC 370 Reporting Manager will play an active role in leading organizational strategic efforts and initiatives while collaborating with and influencing key internal decision makers. The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical and a strong communicator with the ability to influence key decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the structure and execution of Part 370 program activities and ensure all regulatory requirements and associated guidance are fully incorporated in a sustainable and repeatable manner.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Part 370 regulation, and monitor industry practices to meet regulatory requirements and guidance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure system implementations, data remediation and validation activities, and reporting reconciliations continue to elevate the overall quality of Huntington’s Part 370 data.

  • Design appropriate testing capabilities to ensure individual and end-to-end processes are operating effectively and meet regulatory guidance and expectations.

  • Own development and maintenance of procedures, runbooks, and documentation supporting the program, and provide tactical support for regulatory examinations.

  • Manage the governance process, including creation of all program-level updates to committees within Huntington’s governance framework, and the annual rule compliance submission.

  • Build, lead, and coach a team of analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 years of proven Financial Services experience in Finance, Treasury, Corporate Risk Management, Program Management or Audit roles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CFA or FRM

  • MBA, master’s degree

  • Fundamental understanding of the Part 370 regulation and certification requirements.

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs and projects.

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, be a self-starter, deliver to deadlines, handle stress with composure and professionalism, and move work forward with limited direction.

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely while demonstrating confidence and competence in individual and group meeting situations.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly.

  • Ability to collaborate, build credibility and foster teamwork.

  • Experience with deposit and dashboard reporting applications a plus (e.g., ControllerView and Tableau).
