Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software applications within Honeywell Industrial Automation’s Voice technologies team located in Pittsburgh, PA. You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

  • Minimum 2 years of embedded software experience.

WE VALUE

  • Demonstrated ability to develop embedded software.

  • Embedded Linux experience using Yocto or similar build tools.

  • Ability to code in C, C++, Python, Perl languages

  • Understanding of modern secure software development

  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues quickly.

  • Experience with audio and CODECS.

  • Experience with wireless technologies (WLAN, NFC, and Bluetooth)

  • Understanding software development lifecycle

  • Knowledge of source control (GIT) and software change management practices

  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team (hardware and application)

  • Effective communicator
